Cat Nutrition

Although the specific nutritional requirements of cats have been well known for many years, feline nutrition has recently undergone great advancements in the field of non-essential nutrients; those that are not entirely indispensable to cats in normal maintenance conditions but these nutrients can however be crucial in specific stages:  during lactation, in periods of stress, during the senior years. No single food will be suitable to all the cats in a cattery: each cat requires a specific food, adapted to its specific characteristics (eg: Age, lifestyle and physiological stage).
